The purpose of “CryptoYouth: Crypto Meeting for Future ICT Leaders” is to celebrate World Encryption Day 2024 by educating and inspiring new technology-related students about the importance of encryption and its applications.
This event is organized by ISOC Nicaragua Chapter and has the general objective of fostering a deeper understanding of encryption technologies among young talents who are at the beginning of their careers in information and communication technology (ICT).
Specific Objectives:
Raise awareness: Introduce participants to the fundamental concepts of encryption, its history, and its fundamental role in protecting data and ensuring privacy in the digital age.
Engage and inspire: Connect young talents with experts in the field of cybersecurity through talks, live demonstrations and interactive sessions, inspiring them to pursue careers in this vitally important area for the development of the internet.
Create a community: Create a space for young ICT enthusiasts to network, share knowledge and collaborate, fostering a community of future leaders committed to advancing cybersecurity and digital privacy.
