World Encryption Day in Côte d’Ivoire 2023 aims to raise awareness and promote the importance of data encryption in the digital world. The main objectives of the day are to raise awareness of the importance of encryption, promote its widespread use, educate about its benefits and challenges, foster collaboration between stakeholders, and mobilize governments and policymakers. The overall aim is to protect privacy, security and individual rights in the digital world through the use of data encryption. The theme of this year’s event is ” Data privacy protection online”, and more specifically it will discuss the threats to online privacy and how encryption can help protect personal data.
