World Encryption Day is a global digital event, to celebrate World Encryption Day, as we do every year, Fundación Cibervoluntarios has organized a Masterclass for citizens, third sector organizations, and our almost 2,000 cybervolunteers to learn why strong encryption is an essential element to keep us safe online.
The Masterclass on “the importance of end-to-end encryption and government interference” will be given by Genelva Echávarri on Thursday, October 19 at 16:00 (Spanish time) through our YouTube, LinkedIn and Facebook channels. In this masterclass we will talk about why end-to-end encryption is an essential element to keep us safe online: We will talk about how worrying is the interference of governments in this strong encryption, why they constantly want to create backdoors and what are their intentions with it.
